FAQs

Got a question about the booking, planning or shoot process? Check out my FAQs below…

Head over to my enquiry form to tell me a little more about your brand and what you’re looking for. I’ll be in touch shortly to arrange a virtual cup of tea (and cake if you fancy it!), discuss your requirements and marketing / content goals in more depth so we can book a date and start planning your shoot!
At least four weeks in advance is optimal time to book a shoot with me, but the more notice you can give, the better. This gives me adequate time to go over your brief, discuss mood boards with yourself and the team and properly plan the shoot ahead of time so everything runs smoothly on the day. I occasionally have last minute slots, so if you’re tight on time and require photography, videography or content creation, please get in touch and I can let you know what I have available.
I don’t offer payment plans on any of my packages. A 33% deposit is required to secure your booking, payable on receipt with the remaining balance invoiced once services have been delivered.
You can request a copy of my Services Guide here to take a look at everything I offer. If your campaign doesn’t quite fit into my packages or you'd like to work together on a freelance basis, please get in touch and we can discuss a bespoke package to suit your needs.
I truly value collaboration and a two-way dialogue with my clients when it comes to ensuring your vision matches up to the deliverables. Planning involves discussing the full scope of work on a call, producing a mood board with colour schemes, backdrops and props before bringing your food story to life in my home studio!
My studio has an ever-growing carefully curated props and backdrops collection. Many of my ceramics are created by talented ceramicists (Jess Jos, Fiona May Ceramics, Dewe Ceramics) and are generally neutral-toned and natural. I do however also have a range of brighter ceramics. My backdrop range is also extensive and I include these in my mood boards during the planning process.
My heart truly favours natural light for the majority of my photography, however I use continuous LED lights for video work and stop motion. This ensures the highest quality output and consistency throughout. I also use flash for some product photography.
I usually discuss shoot days and deadlines on a video call with clients to ensure all deliverables are with you in adequate time. If you have a specific deadline for images or video content, or require a quick turnaround, please get in touch to book your shoot as soon as possible to allow adequate time for shooting and editing.
Feel free to drop me an email at [email protected] and I'll be more than happy to help!
